The Band

We are currently specialising as a micro-budget movie-making studio.

IN December of 2020 we will start to build the demo/prototype for our indie video game about dungeons.

Beginning in the middle of 2021 with our first short movie about demons, a horror-comedy.

In 2022 we will begin building a social website with a rich explorable environment.

Following that between 2023 and 2025, with our first trial feature movie ($2-3k budget) about sexual censorship and the psychic connection.

We are interested in developing more affordable websites/micro-budget movies/indie video games, large-scale 2d animation, puppets and production design for theatre, open source hardware, a magazine, Collectable miniatures wargames. and we have plans to do events, a national arts program and a physical retail store - over the next several years.

"Love thyself and thy labour." - Michael

And the ground shook as he spoke, with a voice like thunder, his words of doom and despair: "Behold you tiny children of Humankind, and shudder and tremble. Because I am the Lord of the Dark Technology, and ye shall know me as Algeroth. I am the Apostle of War and Destruction, and War I will make, and Destruction I will create!" - Heretic Handbook (Warzone: Mutant Chronicles)

It's a philosophy. A poetics. A politics, if you will. A literature of protest. A novel of ideas. A pornographic magazine of truly comic book proportions. It is, in the end, whatever the hell I want it to be. And when I'm through with it it's going to blow a hole this wide straight through the world's own idea of itself. - Henry Fool, Hal Hartley

Women, a mistake? Or did he do it to us on purpose?! - Witches of Eastwick, George Miller

I believe that our ability to grow as an industry is directly proportional to our ability to understand our past; if we cannot understand it because we cannot play it, our evolution may well be stunted. - Richard Rouse, Game Design, Theory and Practice (2nd ed.)

When politicians like Sen. Joseph Lieberman target video game violence, perhaps it is to distract attention from the material conditions that give rise to a culture of domestic violence, the economic policies that make it harder for most of us to own our own homes, and the development practices which pave over the old grasslands and forests. Video games did not make backyard play spaces disappear; rather, they offer children some way to respond to domestic confinement. - Henry Jenkins, The Game Design Reader by Katie Salen and Eric Zimmerman.
